Job Description
For their Piet Retief store, Dis-Chem Pharmacies needs a reliable health consultant with a focus on vitamins and supplements. You will be in charge of consistently providing excellent customer service in order to market and sell Dis-Chem Health Focus goods.
Minimum Conditions:
Crucial:
Matriculation/Grade 12. Six months or more of sales experience in a vitamin and health-related setting strong mastery of the English language. Microsoft Office proficiency. Strong mathematical abilities. Able and willing to work retail hours.
Beneficial:
A bachelor’s degree in biomedicine or biotechnology, or a similar degree in a health-related subject. Experience in sales in a retail setting. Experience in the health sector (health foods, vitamins, and supplements). Speaking a second language fluently and widely in the community.
Description of the job:
Help and counsel clients while making sure the highest standards of customer care and service are fulfilled. When asked, help with back shopping to make sure the department and store run well. Maintain stocked and attractive goods displays in the health emphasis area. Notify management of any price disparities as soon as they occur. Respect the Health Department’s store layouts. Make sure broadsheet products are available, well-merchandised, advertised, and presented. Use merchandising materials and promotional displays. Reach monthly goals for the team, brand, and vendors. Stay up to date on new product lines and items. Observe the administrative procedures and processes of the Health Department, such as weekly returns, stock control and stock level monitoring, among others.
