Requirements:
- Abet or equivalent qualification. Gardening experience will be advantageous. Knowledge of gardening and the use of garden equipment and tools. Must be punctual and honest.
Duties:
- Digging and weeding of garden and removal of dead wood. Mowing of lawns using lawnmowers and trimming machines. Apply fertilizers and water garden. Clean premises by removing litter and emptying refuse containers. Assist with moving and delivering of equipment and furniture. Sweeping and washing of roads and paved areas. Perform various duties inside the facility on rainy days.

Clearly state the institution, position, and dates (DD/MM/YYYY) for each role on the you CV, including both start and end dates, to allow calculation of years of experience. Ensure that the information on the Z83 corresponds with the CV. Submit certified copies of qualifications, service certificates, and other relevant documents only when shortlisted, on or before the interview. If you hold foreign qualifications, provide an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
HR will conduct Personnel Suitability Checks (PSC) and verification processes. The Department reserves the right to verify information beyond what you provide, where necessary. Disqualify applications that fail to include the required information (excluding HR verification processes). If you do not receive feedback within three (3) months after the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
Subject the recommended candidate to medical surveillance in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 5 of 1993).
